Join us for the best week of the year as current and former Vikings come together to celebrate Viking Days and 100 years of homecoming at Augustana!
In celebration of 100 years of homecoming, Augustana student Bailey Berghult '26 created a Viking Days-themed coloring book — for Vikings of all ages!
Augustana’s Viking Days is the BEST week of the year, where we get to celebrate what it means to be a Viking. Current and past Vikings come together for a week of festivities to celebrate all things blue and gold.
Homecoming is one of Augustana’s longest-standing traditions, dating back to the first celebration in the early 1920s. Named Viking Days in 1929, this tradition remains one of the most celebrated times of the year when alumni return to reminisce, reconnect and make new memories at their alma mater. We look forward to celebrating Viking Days and making memories with you — SKOL!
Augustana University students JayVian Farr ‘24 and Sam Skarstad ‘24 were crowned the 2023 Viking Days Royals at coronation on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in the Elmen Center. The coronation took place in front of a crowd of students, faculty and staff following the Viking Feast on the third day of AU's homecoming.
Augustana University is excited to announce that it will be celebrating 100 years of homecoming during Viking Days 2023 — the week of Monday, Sept. 18. For information on all things Viking Days, visit freeurdupoetry.com/VikingDays. View the Viking Days 2023 schedule.
